Our goal is to increase institutional purchasing of locally grown foods in order to support improved access to fresh and nutritious locally produced foods and enhance economic development of our region.

Improving Access

1 In 7 of Kansas City Metro residents don’t have enough to eat. Food insecurity is detrimental to our health, economy, and community. Our goal is to increase the availability and affordability of healthy, safe, and local food to everyone in the region.
